Conor Venture Partners was founded in 2005 and is owned and operated by the partners Chris Barchak, Jari Mieskonen, Manu Mäkelä and Jarkko Penttilä. They have offices in Espoo, Stockholm and London.
Their initial investment typically ranges between € 0,5 and 1,5 million, but they can go all the way up to € 8 million as a lifetime investment. Their current fund, Technology Fund II, was raised in 2010 and totals € 50 million. In addition to capital they offer advise on business model design, push and support growth, and actively seek opportunities for additional financing rounds.

Jari has almost two decades of experience in technology financing. Prior to Conor, Jari worked as Founding Partner at Eqvitec Partners and as Investment Director in Sitra. He has also served as a board member in several early stage venture funds and numerous start-up companies.

Manu has worked in technology venture capital for more than ten years. Manu joined Conor from Holtron Ventures, where he held the position of Investment Director. Prior to Holtron, he worked as Investment Director for Eqvitec Partners and as Financial Analyst for Eqvitec Advisors.
