The focus of investments varies depending on the specific angel investor. Be sure to find an angel investing in your specific field of business.
BANN was established in April 2016 as the Norwegian umbrella organization for business angels. Their members are typically regional membership organizations of business angels. Already in June 2016, BANN organized a pilot, Norwegian Angel Week 2016 with pitch days in Oslo, Tromsø and Narvik during one week.
A business angel invests time, money and other resources in somebody else’s company or project. This typically means somebody with experience, contacts and (limited) funds helping an early-stage company or project get off the ground.
BANN has so far since its founding in April 2016 done and planned a good number of events, alone or together with partners. If you are looking to establish a relationship with a business angel, try attending one of their pitch-events.
Relationships with business angels can take many different forms and they can help you in very different ways. Each angel invests according his/her own judgement and they all engage with startups with various degrees of active involvement.
