Experience

BANN was established in April 2016 as the Norwegian umbrella organization for business angels. Their members are typically regional membership organizations of business angels. Already in June 2016, BANN organized a pilot, Norwegian Angel Week 2016 with pitch days in Oslo, Tromsø and Narvik during one week.

A business angel invests time, money and other resources in somebody else’s company or project. This typically means somebody with experience, contacts and (limited) funds helping an early-stage company or project get off the ground.

Jørn has helped over 300 international startups since 2013 and is now in charge of building up Business Angels Norway, the national association for angel groups. He made his first angel investment in 1996 and is currently in 38 pre-seed investments.
