More about Agera Venture

Agera Venture is addressing scale-ups with a product or service launched in the market, with a skilled and dedicated team in need of expertise and capital to achieve growth.

The companies we invest in reside in the Agera offices for 12-18 months. Each scale-up receives a tailored growth program and a dedicated advisory team that will work closely with them throughout the accelerator program. In addition, the scale-ups can leverage deep specialist experience from Agera Consulting and access Ageras network.

We are industry independent and we gladly invest in companies beyond the tech domain.

Experience

The Agera Group was founded in 2016 with a dual mission to accelerate scale-ups on their growth journey (Agera Venture) and to accelerate established businesses through innovation consulting (Agera Consulting). This hybrid design builds a bridge and actively explores synergies between innovative scale-ups and established corporations.

We believe in a holistic approach and that the best solutions come from an interdisciplinarity team with a mixed toolbox. Therefore, the Agera team is comprised of people with different skills within finance, strategy, innovation, communication, technology, management and organizational development. Most of us are experienced entrepreneurs who have founded several companies.

How much do they invest?

Agera primarily seeks to invest between MNOK 1 – MNOK 3 in early and growth phase scale-ups. Follow up investments are assessed according to the business potential of each company.

How do they work?

Agera Venture offers a growth team with knowledge and experience most scale-ups need, but can´t afford.

We offer value added by:

A hands-on growth team supporting founders and their team day to day

Welcoming you to our top-quality working environment

Leveraging deep specialist experience from Agera Consulting

Opening our strong network of partners when needed

Adding a seed capital injection

This makes a difference to them

As founders and entrepreneurs, we love working with game-changing technology or a disruptive business model, and know from experience how existing markets and businesses can be innovated and made more profitable by people with the guts to make change happen. We believe that through active ownership and direct involvement in our portfolio companies we increase their chance of success. Our goal is to cover a gap in investments between seed capital and private equity funds.

A good pitch for them

Make sure to emphasize how you have achieved your product market fit and who your customers are. Underline your business concept’s growth potential, and explain why your founding team can make it happen.
