Job Description:

- Porting Android to the hardware platform

- Define the architecture of all software components between the hardware and the Android HAL

- Define the architecture for specific components that are written against the Android API

- Document the designed architecture and keep documentation updated

- Hire and manage developers

- Ensure all software is implemented as per the defined architecture

- Ensure all software is properly documented and managed

- Implement a test suite that is designed together with QA

- Be part of the architecture team that takes a holistic view on the system architecture for each feature

Skills:

- Strong Linux / embedded system

- Commercial experience in designing and developing software on the Android platform 

- Subject-matter expert in Android framework, HAL, and building AOSP

 - Programming experience in native C/C++, Java and JNI

 - Experience in writing BSP and Device Drivers (MIPI, PCI, I2C, I2S etc)

 - Experience in Linux Kernel Driver programming, BSP, Kernel config

- Experience working in an Agile software development process
