We are now looking for a new colleague for our new established position as Warehouse Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for optimizing the company’s warehouse and logistics operations as we now prepare to deliver our products, manufactured in Ski, to our global customer network.
Managing warehouse operations from A to Z
Leading, developing, and supervising the warehouse and logistics team
Coordinating and planning department activities according to production schedules, including time and work planning
Develop and maintain scalable inventory and logistics systems for international growth
Further developing and maintaining warehouse and logistics systems and reporting on KPIs
Hiring and training new employees
Developing effective workflows and processes
Managing transport orders and tracking shipments
Ensuring shipments have correct customs and freight documentation at a global level
Overseeing the budget and ensuring cost-effective warehouse operations and transport solutions
Handling deviations and discrepancies
Establishing and following up on HSE procedures
Assisting with order picking and packing
Managing goods receipt and quality control
Organizing the warehouse
Conducting inventory counts
Performing other logistics tasks
Maintaining and organizing a tidy warehouse and office area
5+ years of experience as an operational leader in warehouse and logistics
Education in logistics management is a plus but not required if you have sufficient relevant experience
Strong leadership skills and enjoy having personnel responsibility
Proven success in budgeting and cost optimization
Experience with global shipments and customs documentation
Extensive experience working in warehouse and logistics systems
Forklift license (T1-T4)
Class B driver’s license
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Good computer skills and experience with warehouse and logistics software
Solid understanding of HSE and a preventive mindset
A confident and stable leader who knows what it takes to build and maintain a good team environment
