Lead Full-Stack Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join our Platforms & Apps group and take ownership of our front-end development efforts. This is a unique opportunity to lead the creation of a product that will impact marketers globally.

This role can be based in Helsinki or Dublin (hybrid) or fully remote from Finland, UK, Ireland, Poland, and Spain.

You'll make an impact by:

As the Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you'll spearhead the development of our front-end application, shaping its architecture and ensuring it’s built to last. While your focus will be on front-end technologies, you’ll also bring your full-stack expertise to the table, working closely with product, design, and backend teams. In addition, you'll play a key role in coaching and growing the technical skills of the team, fostering collaboration, and sharing knowledge.

 Your day-to-day work and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development of new features and functionality, focusing on front-end excellence using TypeScript (NextJS)
  • Architect and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions for a global user base
  • Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to create a seamless user experience
  • Participate in planning, technical discussions, and decision-making for future initiatives
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high coding standards
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement
  • Research and implement new tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance development processes

 This role is for you if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies
  • Experience leading technical projects and initiatives (at least 1+ year)
  • Expert knowledge of TypeScript (NextJS), with a solid understanding of backend development (PHP ideally)
  • Proven track record of leading full-stack projects and collaborating across product and design teams
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to new challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in international, cross-functional teams
  • Passion for mentoring and helping others grow within the team

Technologies you'll be working on: 

  • TypeScript (NextJS)
  • PHP (Symfony)
  • GitHub Actions, Docker, Logging and Monitoring tools
  • Microservice architecture 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with PHP, GitHub Actions, and databases like MySQL, Redis

  • Team Interview (60 mins)
