We are looking for a Team LeaderScalable Electronics  to join our team in Finland. In this role, you will lead and inspire a group of talented engineers responsible for developing the control electronics systems for our quantum computers. You will play a critical role in defining the team's objectives, facilitating collaboration, and driving the technical and organizational development of the team. What will I be doing?

  • Lead a team of engineers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Define and track team OKRs, ensuring clear priorities and efficient project delivery.
  • Facilitate collaboration and coordination between internal stakeholders, including software, production, and delivery teams.
  • Engage with external suppliers, managing technical communications and collaborations.
  • Support the professional growth and development of team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the transition of projects from R&D to production, ensuring all documentation and processes are in place.
  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement to maintain development schedules.
  • Participate in the requirements setting process for the control electronics system, reviewing technical implementation options with the team.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvements to the development process.
  • Lead the team towards next generations control electronics solutions

What skills do I need?

  • Excellent leadership & communication skills 
  • Proven ability to lead a team, set clear objectives, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (minimum 3 years in a leadership role)
  • Technical Expertise: 
  • MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant development work with solid understanding of:
    • Microwave/RF technologies
    • High-speed digital electronics
    • FPGA architecture and interfaces
    • Software-hardware interaction
    • Measurement equipment
  • Ability to address technical challenges, solve problems, and turn errors into valuable learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with schematics/layout entry, FPGA development, software development, continuous integration, version control, and release processes.
