At FlavorScale, we’re focused on building a robust and scalable platform that serves both foodies and eateries. We’re seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Part-time Backend Developer Intern to help us shape the technical foundation of our platform. You will work closely with our lead developers, contributing to the development, maintenance, and optimization of backend services that ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all users. Your focus will be on creating reliable, secure, and scalable code that supports our innovative features and future growth.
Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expertise in building and maintaining automated testing systems using frameworks like pytest, unittest, or Robot Framework.
Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger.
Experience with Docker for application deployment (optional but highly valued).
You are passionate about backend development and enjoy working on creating scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
You have a keen interest in the latest backend technologies and best practices, always looking to improve and innovate.
You are independent, self-driven, and a logical problem-solver.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and work efficiently.
You are located in Copenhagen

Joining FlavorScale means gaining real-world experience across diverse departments, getting hands-on with different responsibilities, and networking with entrepreneurs and software developers. The first 1-2 months will be an unpaid internship to assess your skills, after which the position will transition to a paid role.

FlavorScale is located at the Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) in Frederiksberg, where we share facilities with other innovative startups.
