As a SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER at Monta, you will lead 1-2 squads contributing to Monta Hub. Monta Hub is a single command center that empowers our users to independently tailor their EV operations to meet both current and future business needs. We strive to enable a wide range of players in the EV space to achieve exponential growth and operational efficiency while delivering an unparalleled charging experience to EV drivers. Your mission will be to enhance the solution provider experience and our charge point management module by expanding their product-market fit, entering new segments, and ensuring they meet the needs of our existing solution providers.

We aim to make EV charging simple, accessible, and reliable. Our software ensures a consistent experience across all charge point brands, empowering owners with a seamless solution.

What else should you know?

We've just closed a massive 80M EUR Series B round, propelling us toward revolutionising the EV charging experience with more than a million monthly charging sessions and more than 1,000 new users joining our platform daily.

We'll use this funding to enhance our software-only strategy, expand into new markets, and improve our product for an electrified future ⚡

Your mission: 

  • Shape and own the product vision & strategy: Master your market understanding, user insights, and key metrics to articulate and champion a long-term vision for the modules you own. Develop and communicate a clear product strategy, conceptualising and owning the roadmap for Monta Hub’s core functionalities. You are skilled at setting goals, and then following through; owning the outcomes of your squads work.
  • Communicate the Why: Be the lighthouse for your modules, clearly articulating the rationale behind product decisions and keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned with the strategy and goals.
  • Lead high-performing squads: Partner with Engineering and Design to inspire and empower your squads, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and shared ownership to deliver impactful results aligned with Monta Hub’s goals.
  • Champion continuous discovery: Foster a culture of ongoing discovery, where your teams continuously engage with customers, test ideas, and iterate on solutions. Ensure every feature delivers real value by validating insights and adapting quickly to user needs.
  • Align and collaborate across teams: Work closely with other Product Managers, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure alignment and drive a unified roadmap that effectively meets customer needs.

  •  Solve the core needs of our large enterprise clients, ensuring our products achieve strong product-market fit while being strategic in your investment decisions
  • Achieve high squad engagement and performance fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration and shared ownership 

As a SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, you will:

Take charge of driving the evolution and success of Monta Hub. You will be at the forefront of our product development efforts, leading cross-functional squads to deliver innovative solutions that meet the demands of a rapidly growing EV market. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding its reach, refining its product-market fit, and continuously adapting our offerings to better serve our enterprise clients and industry partners.

To do this, we imagine you to have the following experience:

  1. 5+ years of professional experience managing back-end heavy B2B SaaS products, with a strong track record of success in delivering products with high standards of user experience and complexity.
  2. Expertise in applying strong discovery techniques to gather insights, validate assumptions, and continuously iterate on your strategy, roadmap, and product solutions, ensuring they meet user needs and align with business objectives.
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple squads (or a large one with more than 6 members), with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, ensuring alignment and driving measurable outcomes.

The salary for this position is 75,000 - 85,000 EUR per annum in Berlin, depending on level of experience.
