Position Overview:

The Finance Lead at Spritju will play a critical role in driving the company's financial strategy and growth initiatives. This role will perform all financial aspects of the company, including fundraising, financial planning, and accounting, to ensure Spritju's financial health and operational success. The role will work closely with the CEO and other members of the executive team to guide the company through its next phase of growth.

Fundraising & Capital Strategy:

Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to support Spritju’s growth objectives, including equity, debt, and alternative financing. Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure necessary funding. Lead negotiations with investors, ensuring optimal deal structures and terms. Prepare and present compelling financial narratives to potential and existing investors.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

Oversee the development of financial models and forecasts to guide the company's strategic decision-making. Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly re-forecasting, ensuring alignment with company goals. Provide insightful financial analysis to the executive team, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and accounting functions

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration:

Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and optimize financial performance. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends and economic conditions to proactively adapt financial strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is highly desirable.

A minimum of 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably as a Finance Lead. Proven track record in fundraising and capital strategy, with experience securing various forms of financing. Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and accounting principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of adaptability.
