At Candeno, we seek a creative and forward-thinking Head of Marketing to lead the department, focusing on shaping and driving our organisation's marketing and branding initiatives while playing an essential role in our journey as we expand beyond borders. 

You will ✅
As the Head of Marketing, your roles lie at the intersection of strategy and creativity. You will refer to our CEO and work closely together with our Sales team, Customer Experience team, Product Managers and People & Culture Team, as you will be leading and developing our marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for our SaaS job and recruitment platform. A key focus will be building our 'Go-To-Market' plan for the B2B segment. This initiative lies close to our hearts, as we have dedicated 12 months to building and refining our B2B product, and we are expected to start rolling out our paid plans in the first and second quarters of 2025. You will also:

  • Strengthen and manage the company's brand presence across all channels, including our B2G segments in all markets, ensuring consistency and alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content across Candeno's Social Media Channels, especially with a focus on LinkedIn.
  • Lead our Marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, and e-mail marketing.
  • Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Define KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with our Business Development team and define how to use different channels to provide leads when entering new markets.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team on Employer Branding initiatives.
  • Be responsible for our part-time Marketing Coordinator and future employees, as we expect the Marketing Team to expand in the forthcoming year.

We are searching for a candidate with a creative, curious, and persevering mindset who will actively seek and obtain knowledge within the field of marketing and branding and always be aware of how Candeno can stay ahead of the curve with their marketing initiatives. We are also looking for a candidate with:

  • A relevant education or experience within the field of marketing, a minimum of three years of experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English
  • Leadership skills with experience in building and managing teams
  • Innovative approach which can support our ever-growing organisation
  • A Data-driven mindset and the ability to be analytic
  • Knowledge about HubSpot, Brevo and Custify (a bonus, not essential)
  • Experience working with or in a SaaS company (Experience is a bonus but not essential)

Within the first Month:

  • Complete onboarding and meet key team members.
  • Understand current marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Identify immediate areas for improvement.

Within three Months:

  • Oversee creation and distribution of high-quality content.
  • Lead digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, social media).
  • Plan industry events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Define KPIs and measure marketing strategies.

Within six Months:

  • Develop and start executing the 'Go-To-Market' plan for B2B.
  • Show measurable improvements in brand visibility.
  • Foster collaboration with Sales, Customer Experience, and Product Management.
  • Contribute to employer branding.
  • Fully develop and grow the marketing team.
  • Develop our strategy for all marketing channels.
