Strise is on the hunt for a visionary Head of Design, who will be steering our design journey from user insights to user engagement. As our Head of Design, your influence will be critical in ensuring Strise stays ahead with innovative, user-centric products in the global arena of financial crime prevention.

This position is based in Oslo, Norway.

Strise has an HQ in Oslo and an office in London.

What you will do:

• Vision and Strategy: You will be instrumental in crafting and guiding Strise's design strategy. With your visionary approach, you will drive innovation and ensure the delivery of superior user experiences.
  
• Lead and Expand the Team: You will lead a team of talented designers ensuring that workflow is enhanced while fostering a collaborative environment. In addition, as we grow you will drive the expansion of the team by identifying and recruiting top design talent.
  
• Process Optimization: Implement cutting-edge practices, tools, and methodologies to refine processes across design, marketing, and product teams. Your efforts will ensure resources are allocated effectively and design initiatives are prioritized according to business imperatives.
  
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives and user needs, ensuring a cohesive strategy across all platforms.

Requirements

• Design Background: You have a strong background in design and a deep understanding of best practices and design principles, with a proven track record of creating customer value.
  
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading a team of designers, as well as guiding projects from conception to completion.
  
• Stakeholder Management: You have prior experience working in a matrix organization, ensuring fluent communication between the design function and other stakeholders.

It would be a big advantage if you have:

• Prior experience in a fast-growing scale-up environment.
  
• Worked with enterprise products/ SaaS.
  
• Experience with data-heavy products.
