We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team and help us take it to the next level! You will own and drive employees processes such as onboarding & off-boarding, support employees on a day-to-day basis and implement practical solutions to ensure a great employee experience. 

You will be joining a growing and talented People team with focus on Talent Acquisition (4 people) and PeopleOps (2 people). We are growing fast and are expecting you to help with the expansion of our team. You will report directly to our CFO and take lead on all of our processes concerning the employee journey after joining Formalize.

Responsibilities:

This role is perfect for a motivated, practical and action-oriented People Operations Specialist with experience with working with HR-processes, who is looking for an opportunity to grow their career in a fast-paced startup environment while creating an environment, where team members grow and develop as the business scales.

  • Drive all people operations processes, making sure all our processes are scalable and follow through the employees journey (Managing contracts & payroll, vacations, absence, benefits, dismissal, etc.)
  • Manage and improve on the existing employee onboarding and off-boarding experience working alongside our internal Talent Acquisition team
  • Set up computers and workspace, as well as setting up account access to SaaS tools we use across the company (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, etc.)
  • Manage employee relations matters with tact and confidence, being the internal expert who can navigate best practices, employee legislation and create win-win outcomes for both the Company and all of our amazing team members
  • Provide data and analytics for People Operations in view of improving the employee experience
  • Manage office operations across our global offices (with the support of local office management)

Qualifications and expectations towards you:

  • You have a fixer mentality and a positive and proactive mindset
  • You're not afraid of taking responsibility of your area and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to create new processes
  • You have knowledge on Danish employment law and comfortable managing contracts 
  • Tech savvy, know your way around Google Workspace (or able to learn quickly) and comfortable troubleshooting IT problems together with new starters
  • Experience with implementing and navigating an HR tech stack (such as HiBob, Zenergy, Deel, etc.)
  • High level of written and verbal Danish & English
  • Experience with building HR-processes in a scale-up company is seen as a plus
