As we are experiencing significant growth, Wolve is seeking a skilled Backend and API Developer to strengthen our team for our analytics platform for retail, which focuses on loyalty. This role concentrates on the development and optimization of backend systems and APIs to ensure seamless integration with various e-commerce platforms and payment systems. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in an innovative environment and is passionate about delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems for our loyalty program software.

• Design and implementation of APIs for integration with various third-party systems.

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security in backend solutions.

• Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and maintenance.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product designers to ensure consistent and efficient solutions.

• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system architecture.

   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Solid experience in backend development, preferably in a cloud solution environment.

• Experience in developing and maintaining APIs. (Express.JS)

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript.Advantageous to have knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker is a major advantage.

• Ability to work independently and in a team, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills in Norwegian. English is a plus, both verbally and in writing.
