Swan Neck Bio is on the lookout for a results-driven Commercial Manager with a robust scientific background in fermentation science. This strategic role will blend scientific expertise with a commercial mindset, focusing on project management, client interactions, and driving revenue growth through innovative fermentation solutions. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with the business objectives, emphasizing revenue generation and market expansion.

  • Project Management: Lead projects related to microbial fermentation, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and delivering solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Client and Customer Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their commercial needs and positioning Swan Neck Bio as a trusted partner.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth within the microbial fermentation space.

  • Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with the technical and scientific team, providing support and expertise in client interactions to drive successful commercial outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and executive teams to ensure seamless project execution and commercial success.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Microbiology or related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience in commercial project management within the microbiology or fermentation industry, with a strong understanding of the commercialization process.

  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful commercial strategies.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information in a compelling and commercially relevant manner.

  • Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to understand and meet the needs of clients and customers.
