Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Texture Lead Intern. In this role, you will work closely with our art department to create high-quality textures for our upcoming game projects. As a Texture Lead Intern, you will have the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and contribute to the visual appeal of our games.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality textures for characters, environments, and props using industry-standard software.

• Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to ensure textures meet project requirements and artistic vision.

• Maintain consistency and quality across all texture assets.

• Assist in optimizing textures for performance on various gaming platforms.

• Provide guidance and feedback to junior texture artists as needed.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in texture creation.

Requirements:

• Strong artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in texture creation software such as Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Mari.

• Solid understanding of texture mapping, UV unwrapping, and material properties.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
