Role Overview:

We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team in Oslo. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our industrial IoT SaaS products, focusing on infrastructure development, automation, and platform security.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of a robust and secure platform for our products, bridging the gap between infrastructure and product development.

  • Automate software deployment processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve development lifecycle and platform stability.

  • Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices, emphasizing infrastructure-as-code (IaC).

  • Test and monitor applications and services to ensure optimal performance and adherence to SLAs.

  • Develop and maintain tooling for logging, alerting, and continuous monitoring.

  • Administer the SaaS software through the creation and management of necessary tools.


Our Tech Stack:

  • Kubernetes and Docker

  • Helm, Terraform, Kustomize, Prometheus, Loki.js, Grafana

  • GitHub and GitHub Actions

  • PostgreSQL database

  • Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of DevOps experience

  • Experience or interest in programming

  • Basic understanding of Network technology (NATs, subnetting, domain setup, OSI model)

  • Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Travis, Jenkins)

  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting


Additional Details:

  • The role is hybrid, requiring weekly presence in the Oslo office.

  • No visa or relocation support is offered.
