We're Seasony, a dynamic team leading the charge in robotics automation technology for vertical farms. We’re on the lookout for a recently graduated engineer to take the reins of the deployment of our Watney autonomous mobile robots with our customer in Norway - starting as soon as possible.

We are based in Copenhagen, with customers and partners across the globe.
As our Robotics Engineer, you'll be the driving force for the installation, configuration, deployment and service of software and hardware systems at a vertical farm in Moss, Norway – approximately 1 hour outside Oslo.
You will be based mainly at the vertical farm near Moss but work closely with our R&D and commercial teams and occasionally, or as needed travel to our offices in Copenhagen. Ideally you are based in the Oslo area, with the ability to commute to the Moss facility by car or public transport.
There are currently 2 Watney robots physically at the facility in ongoing deployment that you will take over. It is an ongoing project with an existing codebase that has progressed significantly.
We're looking for someone who's experienced with robotics and passionate about working hands-on with the robots in the field.
The position is initially a 1-year fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible with good possibilities for extension.
Be primary responsible for the finalization of the deployment process at the vertical farm near Moss and in time other customer sites.
Improve existing codebase, test and deploy on the robots
Test new functionality and features from R&D on the robots in the field
Monitor the health of the robots (mechanically and electrically) and develop health assessment plans and reports
Do simple mechanical repair and replacements on the robots, with guidance from team
Pro-active communication with rest of Seasony team
Prepare and participate in account meetings with our CEO and the customer representatives.
Improve or design safety and maintenance procedures for the site
Maintain a structured test and deployment plan and documentation framework
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with ROS / ROS2
Experience with robotics, ideally with mobile robots
Experience with OOP languages ideally C++ or Python
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
Ability to work independently
Willingness to travel internationally
