You might just be our People & Culture Intern for the fall semester of 2023. Have a look at what we offer in Aarhus and see if your aspirations fit.

You matter. At Playable, we know marketing needs to mean more to matter more

We’ve created a flexible SaaS platform that allows more than 650 global brands to integrate gamification into their marketing in all stages driving engagement. And it’s all about the people making up Playable to unfold our vision and grow our position in the market. The People team is a central function to propel engagement and facilitate long-term retention.

On a daily basis you team up with our two People Business Partners skilled in people processes, communications strategies, manager coaching and change management. The team is located in Aarhus, working face to face and virtually with 80+ talented colleagues across six countries. Get hands-on experience with tasks and projects that matter. Your People colleagues will coach and develop your skills - they are both experienced in mentoring interns, so it is safe to say, you will be in good hands.

A central position to drive our student agenda We depend on the creativity, drive, and independent thinking of individuals, but our successes are always team efforts. That’s where you fit in. Your primary focus will be to create, facilitate and power up a network for our 11 current student workers in Aarhus and the group of interns entering our Fall program. It will be a lovely mix of introverts and extroverts - so we need you to engage, connect and set activities to support the development of our youngest talents.

Key responsibilities (which we adapt to your core talent and interest)

  • Facilitate and develop our student network: Understand the needs and set up meetings and build relations

  • Enter a central role in unfolding our Intern program. We have built the blocks ready for you to develop and influence

  • Support and develop our communication flows too, e.g. newsletter, content for monthly All Hands - especially putting our students on the agenda

  • Depending on your interest you will get your own people processes tasks, e.g. in recruitment, our bimonthly pulse surveys on engagement or employer branding activities

Your profile

  • You are trustworthy and love meeting new people, a strong communicator and you are energized by building relations and see others do the same

  • Interested in the People & Culture area - understanding how this agenda is an integral part of the business strategy

  • Know how to work in a structured manner - coordination runs in your blood

  • You will thrive here with a curious mindset. There’s no recipe for navigating in a startup: Join us to get experience in working with limited processes to find the smartest solutions

  • Strong communication skills in English - you will work with colleagues in Aarhus, London, Helsinki, Amsterdam and Copenhagen

Our intern program

  • An active and inspiring network for our associates (11 students in Aarhus) and our Interns. We do monthly check-ins, coffee talks including team building activities, dinners and social activities

  • A dedicated team buddy offering daily sparring on tasks and projects - as well as feedback from your manager. Making sure workload is fit and you continue to learn

  • Ongoing dialog with our People team who can see eye to eye with your challenges or doubts. We will also offer a career aspirations session during the last month of the internship

  • Session about your personality profile to gain insights on your way of working and how to work on strengths and development areas

  • Plenty of benefits such as tasty lunch, discounts scheme and much more. A gratuity may be provided in recognition of your efforts if your place of study allows it

  • We have a great track record of hiring interns as student workers and full time employees afterwards

Playable

Playable (formerly Leadfamly) is a flexible Saas platform that allows brands to integrate gamification into their marketing in all stages. We’re a tool available at any time and best used throughout the customer journey to immerse audiences in playable brand experiences. And we're currently doing so with over 650 global brands, empowering them to build playable marketing activities that drive engagement. We depend on the creativity, drive, and independent thinking of individuals, but our successes are always team efforts. Playable is a place where you find the support you need to grow and thrive. A place where you are allowed to do your best. We love team players with grit and determination who want to become part of a fast-growing SaaS company. Admittedly, the road might be bumpy. But we do it together, as we scale – testing ideas in real life and always learning. You’ll be joining a team of experts, playing to win with our clients. Today, we’re 65+ employees across 6 countries. We have offices in Denmark (Aarhus & Copenhagen), Finland (Espoo), Netherlands (Amsterdam), and United Kingdom (London) - and we are looking to set our foot into new markets sooner rather than later. We’re a company on a true growth journey to make playable marketing an integrated discipline for ambitious marketers and become the most effective marketing tool in the stack, backed by our investors Dreamcraft Ventures and Vækstpartner Kapital. Playable is nothing without the people defining the company. We spent a lot of our waking hours at work. So it needs to matter. Our workplace culture is a common responsibility. It’s manifested in the way we behave every day e.g. how you expect your manager to react or a colleague to respond in a given situation. Our managers should role model our core behaviours and our People team is there to enable this and is responsible for a number of activities and events during an employee life cycle. Joining Playable, you will quickly realise that to become a success, we all need to demonstrate founder's mentality. We all need to carry our load and take ownership - not only within our own area but across the board. We're here to seize an opportunity and become the most effective marketing tool in the stack by enabling brands to enjoy the benefits of playable marketing and creating unprecedented returns on investments. So expect to work at a high pace, but having lots of fun along the way. We love team players with grit and determination who want to become part of one of Europe’s fastest growing SaaS (Software as a Service) companies. The road might be bumpy. But we do it together, as we scale – testing ideas in real life and always learning.
