About the job

We are in search of someone to join our team part-time to help take Protein Directory to the next level. The position revolves around creating company profiles for our database that will be interesting and value-add for our readers. Simply put, you would help businesses communicate their story in the best way possible.

We would like to find someone passionate about researching various alternative protein companies and writing compelling content.

In greater detail, here are some daily tasks:

A significant portion of your work is dedicated to researching and expanding the profiles of select companies:

• Research a variety of news and media sources to piece together a more accurate picture of the companies in our database.

• Write a concise yet engaging story about a company's general business activities, team, funding news, etc. In other words, give our readers an overview of the company through your writing.

• Connect with specific companies to collaborate on creating profiles.

A smaller amount of your work is dedicated to keeping the rest of the database updated with more essential information, including:

• Scout for the newest alternative protein startups to include them in the database

• Updating company profiles at the request of the founder

About you

• You have a passion for writing and strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

• You're interested in learning more about alternative proteins.

• You prefer working independently and being in charge of your work.

• You can tackle both in-depth projects (like researching companies) and more routine tasks (like updating information for dozens of companies).

• You're available to work at least 2 days a week.

About the job offer

• Fully remote (you can work from anywhere around the world)

• Minimum 2 days per week commitment

• You choose your work hours (fully flexible across the week)

• Compensation: 17 €/USD per hour. For example, if you work 2 days (16 hours per week), your monthly salary would be 1088 €
