Tech Lead for Early Stage Regtech Startup With First Signed Customer

Certainli was founded and funded in January this year and have already signed our first pilot customer, with more on the way. Our web platform will solve a concrete and time consuming problem for companies that develop physical products: locating and collecting required documentation from their component suppliers. We are now searching for a Tech Lead who will have all the benefits of being the first full-time developer joining the team. This is an opportunity for you to build and shape a new product and company, with a solid foundation and great long term outlook.

About the role

The Certainli platform will automate critical and time-consuming tasks in the process of certifying a physical product, for example when it comes to CE marking for the European market. Specifically, the platform will automatically locate test certificates from component manufacturers. There are interesting development decisions and considerations to be made, but the technical feasibility of our approach has been confirmed in pre-development. In short, we are building a modern and innovative B2B SaaS platform that will bring great value to our customers. And you will be the one shaping the development of it both in the short and long term.

You will be working closely with the CEO towards our customers and be responsible and empowered in decisions regarding all aspects of development. You will be responsible for the development of the initial product, and in the long term build out the development team and larger roadmap ahead.

Who we are looking for

We believe you are either a full-stack developer or a developer focused on back end but curious to explore a role with a wider responsibility. You likely have a few years of experience within web development in a well-established framework and feel comfortable having responsibility over the development of a web based product. Learning new skills slightly outside your current skillset is something you like and do continuously, especially in order to solve a task at hand. Taking lead suits you, and you enjoy an environment of iteratively trying different solutions and approaches in order to reach the best result.
