We're on a mission to improve the security of web applications around the globe and are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of both the experience and the UI of Heyhack.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the design of Heyhack's products. We currently have one product in the market, Heyhack Scan—our automated penetration testing service for web applications. The product was launched in March 2022 with a very simplistic design that needs an overhaul. You'll initially lead the design efforts of Heyhack Scan and, later on, the future products we have in our roadmap.

• Building great user experiences and interfaces around complex information on found security vulnerabilities. Our customers care about web application security but are not necessarily experts. Your finest task will be to translate the complex information Heyhack Scan generates based on a penetration test of a web application into something that's easy and simple for our users to understand.

• Using data to improve our UX. We're currently using Hotjar but are open to adding more tools to our toolbox so we can collect the insights we need to understand if our products are working as intended. You'll be using data from Hotjar and other sources to iterate and improve on designs to achieve the best result possible.

• Contributing to our design system in alignment with our brand. We're currently engaged with BWD STUDIO, a fantastic design agency, to set the foundation for our visual identity. You'll be working closely together with the designers at BWD and, ultimately, taking ownership of our visual style. You'll continue to contribute to our design system as we grow and expand our product portfolio.

• Working with passionate colleagues. We've just secured funding and are now scaling up our remote team of designers and engineers. You'll be working with super passionate people from across the globe.

What we need from you

• Excellent visual and interaction design craft.

• Experience in designing and shipping at least two other B2B SaaS applications.

• Confidence in using Figma or any other interface design tool.

• Experience working with and creating and maintaining a design system.

• Natural instinct to engage with users to keep improving on designs and experiences.

• You enjoy taking ownership and working in a fast-paced environment.

• Based in a time zone within GMT-5 to GMT+3.
