We are now looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team

Are you a skilled communicator, a fan of creating content, and someone who is looking to build a career in social media and marketing? We are looking for a creative, ambitious person with an eye for detail to join our marketing team in Helsinki to help us grow our presence on social media and spread the word about the Nordics’ leading startup community.

As our next colleague, you will be working closely with our Head of Marketing & Communications to build our presence on various social media platforms and contribute to everything from bringing creative ideas to the table and participating in planning campaigns, to taking care of sharing the final creations with our followers from all over the world. You will also be the one who keeps an eye on everything happening within our community and the wider startup ecosystem to find relevant stories to share in our channels and conversations to join in on. 

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will also assist with administrative tasks, like keeping information about our members up to date and support with gathering data for different marketing reports. You will also help to create and publish content on our website (WordPress) and support in building and sending marketing emails (HubSpot). 

The role as our Marketing Coordinator is perfect for you who have a few years of relevant studies behind you and are now looking for a part-time job alongside your studies. This is a part-time position (20h/week) and as we’re looking for someone to capture all the exciting things happening at the Maria 01 campus, this position requires onsite work from our campus in the center of Helsinki. We’re looking for a curious, fast learner who communicates fluently in English and thrives in the fast-phased startup world. As you will work on various marketing-related tasks, this is a great opportunity to develop your marketing skills further.

The role’s tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Plan, produce, and share content (both visual and written) in all our social media channels to maintain an attractive social media presence and increase engagement.

• Assist with planning, executing, and monitoring targeted marketing campaigns to create awareness and grow our brand.

• Assist with creating, curating, and managing content for Maria 01’s internal communications channels.

• Research, monitor, and gather content and information on the members of our community as well as the wider startup ecosystem to find relevant information and stories to share.

• Update and manage content and visuals on our website.
