Carrot Revolution is a Helsinki based startup with the mission of opening kitchen doors for kids all over the world. Our gamified app Carrot Kitchen is the world’s first mobile cooking buddy for kids. The app was launched in October 2020 both in App Store and Google Play in Finnish and English. Go check it out! Through cooking with Carrot Kitchen app, kids learn to love and appreciate food, cook healthy meals, make choices that promote their wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of our planet, and enjoy the joy of shared meals together with friends and family. We recently closed a pre-seed funding round and now it’s time to start the exciting growth journey and enter new markets, the first one being the UK at the end of this year.
Now we are looking for a Business Developer & Partnerships Manager, with a proven track record of selling and building networks and connections. Previous experience in kids gaming or education is not necessary but a plus. Our HQ is located in Helsinki Finland, you would work from home in this role.
You would work closely with the Finnish team in the Helsinki HQ, and have one UK based colleague focusing on the marketing and community operations.

Job summary:
Build the Carrot Kitchen business in the UK through partnerships, with main focus on getting new customers for the Carrot Kitchen App through various partnership models. Support building Carrot Kitchen as a media and finding related brand and other collaborations ranging from food brands and companies or other businesses to institutions and charities.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead efforts to scale the execution of partner activities and market growth strategies by building relationships and partner models in the UK with the goal of driving revenue growth
Define, launch, and run strategic initiatives that contribute to our go-to-market plan, from finding leads to pitching, closing deals and managing the partner relationships
Be responsible for building a strategic business development plan that defines priorities, and types of partnerships across different verticals
Align with company strategy which includes launching other key Western markets after UK - preferring partners who may support us also outside UK
Execute the plan while working with key internal and external stakeholders, and reporting to the management and BOD
Support Carrot’s marketing and PR activities, with the help of the UK Marketing and Community Manager
You fit if you have:
5+ years of experience in sales or partner management within the food, digital or kids industry, apps experience a plus
Experience in developing pipelines, forecasts, and executing with internal and external teams to meet and exceed targets
Ability to execute growth efforts, including account management, to accelerate revenue growth in a partnership
Strong focus on action and excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Expert in the UK market and knowledge of other markets
Great contacts, business development and partnerships mindset
