Would you like to get closer to the life sciences and entrepreneurship scene? Terkko Health Hub is looking for an energetic Community and Program Manager, who’d have fresh ideas that could develop our community even further.

Terkko Health Hub is an event space, co-working area, and startup community focusing on health and life sciences. Located in the heart of the Meilahti Medical Campus, it’s a place for all health enthusiasts to build amazing projects and businesses. We offer premises and a community to our niche startups, event and meeting spaces, and an open coworking area.

Our mission is to bring the buzzing startup scene in the middle of the medical campus and be the bridge between the entrepreneurial world, academia, and the clinical health care environment. In addition to maintaining the premises, we offer events and programs that support our community and the wider ecosystem. 

The main responsibilities for our new Community and Program Manager are coordinating, executing, and developing our 1) community actions and managing 2) long-term programs offered by Terkko. The Terkko Health Hub team supports the manager in these duties. You are accountable to the General Manager of Terkko Health Hub.

The job is a full-time position and is valid until further notice. Work hours are predominantly during weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm. An ideal applicant can commit to the job long-term.

Your duties include

• Managing and serving the Terkko Health Hub community

• Developing community actions and services

• Organizing regular community events in contact and remotely

• Mapping and contacting startups suitable for Terkko Health Hub with the Project Manager

• Coordinating the Terkko Health Hub Programs independently and in collaboration with Helsinki Think Company in contact and remotely

• Previous experience in health and life sciences and entrepreneurship

• Knowledge and networks in startup or health and life sciences ecosystems.
