Job description

As a React Developer at WasteHero, you will be able to challenge yourself with cutting edge technologies. The perfect candidate has years of industry experience working as a React.js developer and thrives with freedom and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Work with software features, project structures, APIs, integrations and microservices

• Be responsible for developing new features from mock-ups to functional tools for our users

• Work in collaboration with experienced developers, designers and managers

• Gain hands-on experience with modern data processing practices

• Take part in code review and peer review

The Essentials

• Experience with working with technical and non-technical people

• Advanced understanding of; React, JavaScript, ES6+, Node.js

• Experience working with GraphQL, Apollo GraphQL and GraphQL subscriptions

• 2+ years’ work experience with React and function components

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar

• Experience using common design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance

• High understanding of web development UI/UX design principles and best practices

• Feel comfortable with: Jira and Git (Bitbucket)

• A natural curiosity for new scripting languages, frameworks, and technologies

• Knowledgeable with Agile – Scrum way of working

Nice-To-Haves

• Proficient with TypesScript

• Experience creating, maintaining and shipping top-ranking web applications

• Experience with StoryBook or other design systems

• Experience working with ant.design

• Experience with usability testing
