If we are going to solve some of the most pressing challenges of our time, we need to become much better at organising ourselves.

With Acter, we are on a mission to fundamentally change the way that we work together through a new digital infrastructure that helps people, organisations and networks accelerate their impact.

Acter enables overview, collaboration, knowledge sharing, impact measuring and includes all the essential tools needed to connect and enforce the change and transformation towards a better world.

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a skilled and value driven UX/UI designer to join us in realising out vision.

Current status

During the last two years we have managed to build a strong community, validate our concept, and establish partnerships that have allowed us to secure further funding for further development and scaling of Acter.

This includes taking our design and visual presence to the next level, by streamlining the user experience and user interface.

For this we need you!

Who you are

• You are able to comprehend abstractions and navigate in large complexity, but most importantly you are capable of boiling it down to a simple, elegant and beautiful user experience without losing the essence.

• You have a big drive for creating change and are looking for an opportunity to leverage your skills as a UX/UI designer to make an impact.

• You are experienced with web and mobile applications and familiar with Figma, Sketch or similar. Also, you have experience with component-based design

• You have experience with tools/libraries like Storyboard and Material-UI.

Primary area of responsibility

Overall you will be bridging the gap between the research team and development team, with primary focus on developing the Web and App design. This include:

• Together with the research team, translate insights from our users into the UX and the UI of the platform.

• Design all UI material for the development team (Layout, components, styleguide etc.)

• With potential to also co-create Acter's overall visual identity.

Financial expectations

• As of now, being a start-up we are not able to directly compete with market standards. As such, if the pay-check is what is the most important to you, this is not the right match.
