We are looking for a Country Manager in Norway / the Nordics who will organize and lead all work performed within Walkolution´s expansion in Norway and later across Scandinavia. The country manager will supervise all areas of operation of Walkolution AS, based out of Oslo. The position involves building the business from the ground up with ongoing support from the German parent company while ensuring customer satisfaction and proper branch operation.
The candidate should have a hands-on approach and should be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable aggressive sales targets achievement.
To be successful as a Country Manager, you should be a competent public speaker and have good networking abilities. Outstanding candidates should be able to work without supervision and demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial drive and spirit.
Explore local markets B2B, B2C, and B2B2C conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
Organize all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales (on- and offline)
Establishment of a powerful e-commerce store (while enjoying extensive technical support by our team and agency partners)
Establishment of scalable logistics and distribution strategies, including the perspective of a potential Device-as-a-Service approach
Data-driven and -supported development of digital marketing aligned to KPIs, leveraging the daily growing insights from Walkolution´s other markets
Identification and acquisition of resellers and affiliates in Norway and Scandinavia
Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation to future branch personnel
Explore opportunities for improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and growth opportunities
Provide consulting with other branches and partners abroad on effective practices, competitive intelligence, and business opportunities
At least three years of experience in a similar position with budget and personnel responsibilities
Significant experience with modern management techniques and best practices
Good knowledge of hardware companies special needs, challenges but also its special advantages.
A good knowledge base of Norway and preferably within the wider Oslo business region
Excellent command of the Norwegian language in speaking and writing
Strong organizational skills with a results-driven and customer-focused attitude
Good leadership and human resources management skills
Bachelor's, Master´s degree or higher
Direct and daily collaboration with the founders of the company
