Position overview:

Software and algorithms engineer that will be part of the Hyperion Robotics core team supporting the company's effort in creating sustainable automated construction solutions with robotic 3D concrete printing. 

The preferred candidate will know how to apply software to design,  development and maintenance of software used to process 3D geometric data into robotic tool-paths . Software development will primarily consist of creation of algorithms in C++ or C#. Front-end development will be done using CAD designer package plug-ins. (e.g. Mcneel rhino or similar ). An ideal teams player who is enthusiastic and passionate about the the technology and is comfortable working in a team.

Specific duties:

●      Create and modify application using C++ or C# or similar languages, both as standalone applications and within the framework for CAD plug-in packages.

●      Maintain and develop software requirement and design specifications.

●      Work closely with team members and users.

●      Integrate software efforts within the overall customer program to ensure deliverables are within companies capabilities. 

●      Work in a team environment with only moderate directions and able to lead a software team in the future.

Requirements:

●      Demonstrable experience in developing software in 3D environment.

●      Undergraduate degree in computer science or related technology field.

●      Demonstrate command in required software languages.

●      Understanding of agile approaches to software development.

●      Good English written and verbal skills.

●      Demonstrable experience with CAD/design softwares.

●      Preferable experience with 3D printing and robotic technologies.
