DataCrunch is rapidly expanding its infrastructure. The new team member will be working on backend services, configuring and monitoring CEPH storage clusters, maintaining our network infrastructure, assisting in building additional services.
The new member will be able to hone their skillset by working together with a senior Linux administrator to get familiar with our systems and setup.
Requirements:
Knowledge about PHP, Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, Postgresql
Experience with virtualization
Knowledge about configuring routers, firewalls and switches
Bonus skills:
Experience with automated VM and bare metal deployment
Experience with tools such as puppet/ansible
Experience with CEPH storage clusters
Interest in high end compute hardware
Working hours are generally flexible and if wanted can be done remotely for several days per week. Our office is at Maria01 in Helsinki. During COVID, work is being done 100% remotely.
The main task initially will be to help preparations for ISO27001 and follow up on security, prior knowledge is a plus but no requirement.
