We are seeking an ambitious and independent individual to join our rapidly scaling projects across all of Northern Ireland (Department of Infrastructure) and London (Transport for London). Data will be streaming from hundreds of devices and then undergo cleansing, analysis, storage, and visualization.
You will work directly with another DevOps engineer and data scientists for the following activities
- Maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, KMS, IAM)
- Kubernetes cluster maintenance using Kops (version updates and upgrades, includes planning, testing, and keeping downtime low)
- Internal service product development (ELK stack, Grafana, Keycloak, GitLab, Vault and PostgreSQL)
- Planning and developing CI/CD workflows for other developers and data scientists
- Writing and maintaining internal and user documentation on internal services and infrastructure
