We are currently seeking skilled, motivated, talented problem solvers with a passion for video games and the talent and skills to create them to join our development team. As a Game Programmer/Developer, you will be part of our interdisciplinary team, developing and adding to our new line-up of online games. Workwise, you will be involved with tasks such as helping out in designing the overall gaming system, helping ensure that it will perform as intended, as well as contribute to the process of writing codes for games by providing direction to programmers working on the projects.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing game software 

• Ensuring that the game design is fully implemented and performs as expected

• Creating unit tests and validation procedures, and documenting technical specifications

• Working closely with other developers to create task/project deliverables

• Interface with Quality Assurance, Game Producers, Game Designers, and Artists.

Qualifications:

• C++, JavaScript and/or Game Development knowledge (e.g. Unreal Engine and Unity)

• Ability to produce fast, well documented and easily extendable code

• Experience in shipping, releasing or live developing on at least one commercial product or game is ideal

• Ability to articulate and document technical designs clearly and analytically

• Ability to communicate effectively and objectively in English.

Desirable Skills:

• Passion for videogames

• Knowledge of multiplayer/PvP/online game development practices

• Familiarity with agile software development and developing programmes (such as Unity)

• Ideal but not necessary: Back-End Skills with Java/PHP/MySQL stack.
