CollectiveCrunch is an AI leader in the forest industry. We collect geospatial and process data and crunch this information into AI models for better prediction of forest inventories and forest damage. We use the latest machine learning technology, a state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure and make extensive use of earth-observation data, originating from satellites.

The Position

As Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying new features for our web-based application; and for maintaining and continuously enhancing our application stack. You will coordinate and review the contributions of external team members to ensure consistent quality and coding practices.

Your Background

You have an educational background in computer science and several years of professional experience with web-based application development in JavaScript (frontend and backend). Your work history includes projects in which you played a key role in developing complex data-driven applications.

Our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript-based web applications

• 3+ years of experience developing with react.js and node.js

• 2+ years team leadership and/or management

• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles

• Familiarity with test automation and test doubles

• Experience accessing relational databases with SQL

• Fluent verbal and written English language skills

The following skills will be an advantage:

• Embedding maps into web applications

• Ability to inspire and motivate others

• Self-starting, goal-oriented mindset
