Expektra has the vision of an efficient energy system where electricity is generated and consumed with optimal utilization and minimal environmental impact. A key component for this is automation and digitalization. We develop and provide electricity trading systems with an increasing degree of automation towards a more prosperous machinery that increases the system's tolerance for weather-dependent power generation from solar and wind power.

You will be working with a small team focusing on the product web interface. The challenge with this web is the large amounts of information (timeseries, graphs, tables) to be presented and managed by the customer. The web interface also packages the automation-services in an innovative and intuitive manner.

What you’ll do

• Participate in crafting web-/UX-design wireframes/design-drafts

• Implement web-/UX-designs into prototypes and production

• Implement reusable code and libraries

• Contribute in continuously improvement of our products by collaborating with the team and customers

• Participate in crafting API specifications, and perhaps even implement some of it

• Identify bottlenecks, security concerns, as well as performance issues

• Peer review your own and others code, improving yourself, others as well as the actual code

Who you are

• Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript, (S)CSS, HTML, Angular and REST.

• Feel for design and usability

• Ability to multi-task between web development and web maintenance projects as needed.

• Experience from working with version control systems like Git or other

• A team player with positive working attitude minding the details

• Ability to write readable, modular and reusable code

• You are interested in code quality and following current best practices in your areas of expertise and make sure to stay up-to-date with new trends and relevant technologies

• Bonus if you also have 1-3 years relevant work experience
