We are looking for an operations professional to join the Inventure team to help our portfolio companies with talent/hiring & people management on a strategic level. The role will also include some support to our small but growing investment and operations team.


Location: Stockholm or Helsinki 


The Talent Director will have to split his/her time between a large number of portfolio companies across multiple countries and work on the matters where the impact is the greatest at any given time. A key aspect is to only prioritize strategic elements and not work too tactically with the companies.  Note, this is not a recruiter role. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the portfolio companies on strategic matters when it comes to: 

    • Help with sparring the management teams when setting the structure for how to build the organisation over time including recruitment 

    • Employer branding strategies/support

    • Onboarding/offboarding best practices 

    • ESOP/warrant structures 

    • Helping companies benchmark best practices when it comes to hiring in various stages 

    • Diversity & inclusion initiatives across the portfolio

  • Support the partners group with internal hiring/team management practices in the following areas: 

    • Help with structure for future hires

    • Career planning and goal setting for the team members 

    • Helping us with the entire operations setup and helping us become a world-class fund when it comes to operational support together with our Platform Manager as well as the rest of the team

Requirements

  • Extensive understanding and experience of, and passion for, talent and people management in fast growing companies

  • Experience from fast-growing startups/tech companies is a must

  • The right candidate probably has around 5-10 years of experience in the talent/people management or recruitment space 

  • We think that you are more business focused rather than classic HR/recruitment focused. The optimal candidate is a business-first individual who believes that the best way to get business results are through selecting and engaging the right people 

  • Linear or non-linear career pattern that brought you to recruitment/talent management role 

  • Ideally an existing network and connections to the European and/or Nordic startup ecosystem

  • Undergraduate degree from a top tier university a plus

  • Nordic language skills are a plus

  • Excellent communicator with ability to articulate ideas accurately and concisely
