The Lunicorn is a media brand and production house, exploring business culture within the global innovation industry! We travel the world in search of unknown startup stories, uncovering the tech industry in an easily consumable format (short-form mobile video). Providing our audience with hyper-localised knowledge about entrepreneurial culture. We are looking for cheeky rebels with targeted ambitions who loves to stand in the middle of the action!

The Lunicorn is a media brand and a production company focusing on the innovation industry. We have recently split our productions in two:

Luniversial Studios and Lunicorn Productions.

Luniversal Studios consists of our own branded videos, and recently - a book! We want to take a stand in the innovation industry to become the go-to media provider for information delivered in a fun way about startups and tech. We started out last year by creating our show “Startup Cities”, where we travel to different cities in the world to uncover what makes their startup ecosystem unique and how it is like to live there for a startup person. With our founder Matt Smith as the presenter and interviewer in the show, together with the cheeky and snappy editing, it is really unique in the way it is communicating to the audience.

Regarding the book - this is a Startup Buzzword Dictionary that have cartoons explaining the most typical startup buzzwords - to bridge the gap between very startup-startup people and the ones who is interested in the industry.

Lunicorn Productions works more or less like a traditional production company, apart from that we solely focus on projects in the innovation industry. Until now we have clients like Microsoft , Oslo Business Region, DNB and Norway Health Tech, but also individual startups in Norway and abroad. We create videos for our clients from ideation to a finished product. These projects vary a lot, some are fun commercials for a company or an event, others can be more informative and in depth.

We are currently looking for someone who can master most of these qualifications:

• Videography

• Premier Pro

• After Effects

• Good ideation and creative skills

• Managing/executing and finishing a smaller project from start to end

• Likes to have a lot of responsibility

• Good communication skills and can have direct contact with client

• Enjoys travelling

• Has a genuine interest in innovation and startups

• Most importantly: Someone who learns fast and is eager to jump into new challenges!

• Camera equipment (we have Sony A7 Mark ||| x2 and mainly Moza Air 2 Gimbal)

• 50% editing computer, but we need you to have your own for use if the ones we have are sometimes occupied.
