We are looking for a QA tester for an intern position, who would love the opportunity to ensure software quality. We are looking for a QA tester for an internship to ensure software quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. You have a flair for tasks where you can review and analyse system specifications, plus report and document technical issues. Maybe you have some previous experience developing software, maybe you have studied software development, or maybe you acquired this experience in a previous position.

The most important is that you have a strong flair for software quality assurance. You will join a team of developers, where you will get the chance to truly own your work and help us with your technical capabilities.

Who we are:

We are building a SaaS solution that uses machine learning to automatically organize companies' important documents. At the same time, we are extracting intelligence that we then use to provide our customers with unique “at the click of a button” business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse system specifications
• Collaborate with other team members to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual) and analyse results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

We expect that you:

• Have a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Have knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting
• Are fluent in English
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have attention to details
• Have strong organizational skills
• Have an analytical mind and problem-solving approach
• Can document and troubleshoot errors

It is an advantage if you:

• Are experienced in performance and load testing of web services
• Have worked with Elasticsearch before
• Have proven experience as a QA tester or similar role
• Have experience in project management and QA methodology
• Have familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Have working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Kiwi TCMS, qTest, Zephyr) and SQL

• Start date: As soon as possible.
• The internship has a duration of at least 2 months and it is unpaid.
