At TrademarkNow we build the world’s leading trademark search and protection tools using the latest Machine Learning, AI and NLP technologies and techniques to imitate how a real lawyer would assess Trademark Likelihood of Confusion. You will also get to work with Big Data. Our Information Retrieval cluster executes complex linguistic similarity searches from a total of 1 TB of in-memory trademark data using custom Data Structure and Algorithms.

We are now looking for a Data Integration Architect to strengthen our ever-so-delightful and innovative Helsinki-based R&D team!

In addition to enjoying cookies and coffee at the office you will be:

• Working with the team to create performant ETL/ELT and Machine learning pipelines
• Writing/configuring ETL processes to bring data from various external sources
• Monitoring / improving data consistency and integration flows
• We expect you to have experience from Scala, Java, XML, JSON, SQL and Linux scripting. Experience from Web crawling / scraping is a big plus!

• Rolling up your sleeves; you will need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach; must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business if and when required
• Self-Starter, results orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality.
• High levels of integrity, and organizational and cultural awareness combined with sound communication skills
• Strong team player and collaborative approach – happy to ‘get stuck in’ as needed
