Here at Mavenoid, we’re building the world’s most intelligent—and human-friendly—troubleshooting system. Our software has been used to guide people through repairing mission-critical military systems and cloud-connected fleets of trucks. As a hands-on Head of Engineering (and possibly co-founder), you will help to further productify our platform, turning it into a web-based SaaS product (or TaaS, Troubleshooting as a Service).
THE ROLE
This role is neither static nor easily defined. It will change quickly along with our company. You should love working on hard problems and be able to build a version 1 of almost anything in a week. You will devise new systems that combine human knowledge with artificial intelligence to help people get to the root cause of problems.
Ideally you are a full-stack software engineer, perhaps leaning towards back-end or front-end web development, though we don't insist on this label. More importantly, you have a track record of building things and can pick up new tools quickly. We’re looking for someone with an abnormally high work ethic and high ability relative to experience.
Two of the founders are experts in machine learning and have built the core platform and one founder is ex-Palantir. The existing founders own R&D, Platform and Business Development. You will own Engineering, working closely with all three of the founders on turning the platform into the best troubleshooting product in the world.
