Contimo is building a closed, publisher-controlled native advertising platform that helps premium Nordic publishers and brand advertisers run end-to-end native and affiliate campaigns. Native advertising has stayed out of the programmatic race to the bottom. That's the good news - it's still the publishers' premium on-site offering, with the margins and brand-safety story to match. The bad news is that native has remained almost entirely manual. Campaigns are hand-built, sold direct, and optimized by humans - operationally expensive on both sides of the deal. The format works, but it doesn't scale. A premium product ends up under-earning relative to its potential, and the operational drag is increasingly the reason publishers can't grow it.
