In a constantly evolving digital world, we continually challenge ourselves to think creatively and create content that will engage and inspire our target audience. We are now seeking someone who, together with the rest of our marketing team, will develop creative concepts and video content for our social media channels and advertisements.

We imagine that you’re a creative spirit with a mind that thinks outside the box. You probably already engage in content creation for social media, either as a part-time or full-time job. You bring a toolbox with you that will be valuable when executing your tasks.

We’re taking made-to-order mainstream!

Clothing is one of the most dynamic, creative industries on the planet. But it also has its problems: overconsumption, incredibly high waste, and an opaque supply chain that mistreats garment workers. 

What if we could fix these problems, and deliver better products at the same time? 

Introducing Son of a Tailor. 

We’re reengineering the clothing industry with made-to-order. Made-to-order means we don’t produce anything until it's sold. In this way, we design overproduction out of the equation. Our Perfect Fit algorithm has been honed for 8 years, and is 95% accurate. It requires just 30 seconds and no measuring tape. Moving to made-to-order isn’t easy. It requires a radically responsive supply chain, no minimum order quantities, and daily communication with partners.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Use your storytelling skills to create engaging videos about Son of a Tailor that will be used on social media (IG, TikTok, YouTube)

• Take ownership of recurring “shows” on our social media accounts through video and photos

• Create video advertising assets for our social media accounts

• Are a great storyteller

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken

• Don’t mind being in front of the camera

• Already have experience with content creation for social media

• Understands the mechanics of conveying stories through social media

• Have experience with video editing for social media

• Have an eye for fashion and style

• Have a great passion and drive to deliver great work

As our freelance Content Creator we expect you to be involved in concrete projects, as well as taking lead on particular projects. The hours required will be flexible and depend on the scope of the partnership.

Compensation will be based on competencies and experience.

You’ll work closely with our Brand & Marketing team and report to our CMO, while working closely with our Senior Communications Manager and Co-Founder/Art Director, along with a few marketing consultants.
