What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be developing Career Marketing sites for some of the world’s biggest brands. This will include some of this stuff, too:
You'll manage a team of web developers to ensure that our customers' business requirements are delivered on time and with high quality.
You’ll liaise with our Engineering, Product and Customer Success teams to deliver our product to identify and implement ongoing process and scalability improvements
Mentoring and coaching our Web Developers with industry best practices
You’ll use SmashFly tools, widgets and functionality to build high traffic web sites
You’ll collaborate with customers to bring their vision to life
The skills you should have:
Essential Criteria:
- Third level certification ideally within a Computer Science discipline or STEM related with at least five years development experience and three years of management experience
- At least 3 years' experience managing a team responsible for technical delivery
- At least 3 years' experience successfully interfacing with customers across multiple concurrent projects
- Demonstrated skill in developing new processes in collaboration with key stakeholders with an eye toward continuous improvement
Key skills:
- Third level certification ideally within a Computer Science discipline or STEM related with at least two year’s commercial development experience
- At least 3 year’s experience managing a team responsible for technical delivery
- Must have experience communicating with customers both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, multi-task, and adapt processes for continuous improvement
- A leadership style that is confident and vocal, but focuses on advancing the objectives of the overall team in collaboration with peers
- Expert level knowledge and experience with current web markup and scripting languages such as: HTML, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery
- Experience with responsive web design to support desktop and mobile web experiences is required
- Working knowledge of current web development best practices and cross browser compatibility
- Understanding of current WCAG accessibility standards
- Experience with SEO optimisation and related tools including Google Analytics
- Experience in CMS platforms such as DotNetNuke/Evoq would be advantageous
- Familiarity with SQL and working with databases would be awesome
- Imaging, publishing, and prototyping applications (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, SnagIt, etc.) – also awesome!
