This role will support and enhance existing software projects and work on ongoing projects while providing assistance when needed to the team. The candidate must be comfortable working solely or in small teams, having full responsibility from project conception to go-live. The candidate must be passionate about software development and show a keen interest in developing with and learning new technologies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following
Enhancing and supporting existing in-house and customer solutions.
Assistance with the preparation and maintenance of a technical information knowledge base for use by the company and by other authorised external users.
Maintain all documentation, relating to both internal and external customer projects, up-to-date and accessible internally.
Testing and evaluation of new software and existing software
Provide 1st / 2nd level software support and triaging
Manage client expectations and ensure exceptional customer service
Self-learning with guidance from senior team members
Willingness to undertake Microsoft certifications in .NET technologies
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.

Education and Experience:
Educated to degree level in Computer Science
Experience within the IT industry in a similar software development position
Full application life-cycle knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Enthusiastic self-starter able to work on own initiative
Experience in the following technologies: Microsoft.NET framework (including .NET core), C#, Angular, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Typescript / Javascript and CSS / SCSS.

Internal training on products and services will be provided. However, staff are expected to consistently keep abreast of new developments, which would impact on their areas of responsibility. Salary: The salary and benefits for this position will be determined according to the experience of the person appointed. General Guidance: The nominal working week is 37.5 hours, although a degree of flexibility is both offered and expected. In specific circumstances there may be a requirement to work additional hours.
