The Role:

The Robot Exchange has an opportunity for .NET Software Developers to join our fast-growing Software Development team. The role is full time permanent (37.5 hours per week) and will be based in Lisburn. You will be working in the growing and highly exciting Robotic Process Automation space as we continue to expand our custom-built software solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Working within the software development team in an agile environment.

- Design and build custom software solutions.

- Integrating client systems using various integration methods, including WCF, REST APIs, SOAP etc.

- Management of your development workload within Jira.

- Deliver software to the highest possible standards in a timely manner.

- Engage proactively with both technical and business user customers.

- Learn and understand customer requirements/problems .

- Collaborate with peers in development team to design solutions and diagnose problems.  

Experience & Qualifications:

For our .NET Software Development positions, you simply need to have studied an IT or Software related degree and have at least 1-year experience in a related role. If you have already undertaken a placement year then this is also advantageous as we will consider this as the minimum 1-year experience. We are looking to hire multiple people for this role.

- A least 1 year of experience working as a software developer

- IT related degree.

- Clear understanding and ability to apply principles that ensure software is written securely.

- Experience working in an Agile environment.

- Experience in using version control systems.

- JQuery / JavaScript.

- ASP.NET MVC.

- ASP.NET Web Forms.

- C#.

- Web API.

- Entity Framework.

- XML.

- Ability to meet deadlines.

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Must be a self-starter, confident in your ability and being able to plan and organise workload. 

Desirable:

- SQL database experience.

- Python.

- PowerShell.

- Familiar with software development supporting processes such as release and test documentation.

- Previous experience working with RPA solutions
