TheAppBuilder are looking to hire a Mobile Developer who is passionate about delivering the highest quality products to TheAppBuilder clients in an evolving environment. Working within the development team you will play a key role in the further development of our core product.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing our mobile application using modern technologies
Creating functional and attractive solutions, ensuring great user experience
Helping to define and influence the future technical direction for the evolution of the product
Working within an agile environment to develop high quality software

Skills, attributes and experience

The following are essential:

Proven track record of developing commercial mobile applications for iOS and / or Android
Knowledge of C# or similar and an understanding of software development best practices
Experience working with design patterns such as MVC, MVP, or MVVM
Ability to work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability
A desire to create high quality products with a focus on design, user experience, and attention to detail
Enthusiasm for crafting high quality and maintainable code
A desire to work with Xamarin to develop cross-platform applications
Experience of working within a software development team
Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets
Ability to communicate fluently and present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Maintaining a high awareness of industry trends
Have a positive “can do” attitude towards the technical and commercial challenges facing TheAppBuilder and our customers

The following are desirable:

Experience with unit testing or TDD
Experience with Windows Phone, Silverlight, or WPF development
Experience with cross platform mobile development and architecture
Current Xamarin certifications
