Our Belfast R&D Hub

Our Belfast office opened in early 2019 and is the hub for Signifyd’s accelerated international expansion. Belfast will quickly grow from a development center to an office that houses the full range of roles needed to build ecommerce success for our European customers.

About our graduate opportunity

We are looking for passionate graduates to join our established development teams in Belfast. You’ll have the opportunity to join engineering teams who are leveraging the latest technologies to develop innovative solutions and services and do things that haven’t been done before in our industry. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, collaborate with other partners across the business and deliver a fantastic and seamless experience for our customers.

As a graduate developer we don’t expect you to have a detailed knowledge of everything on our stack, but if you’re:

What you’ll get to do

- From the outset you’ll contribute to our features and products and participate fully in your team’s responsibilities, that means you’ll: -

- Participate in planning, design and daily stand-ups from the get-go

- Be part of a team who are responsible for the full lifecycle of their products: design, development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, monitoring and iterative improvement

- Be part of a team who are responsible for the full technology stack related to their product or feature; from the user level APIs right down to the databases, streams, and queues, that back the functionality!

To know if we’re a great fit for you, you’ll:

- Be working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with a predicted grade 2.1 or above

- Be working towards Masters Degree in Software Development with a predicted grade of Pass or Distinction

- Have an interest or desire to work with Java, Python, SQL or any of our development stack, or you’ll have worked with some of our stack before on your own time or for your own projects

- Have an interest in machine learning

- Be willing to ask for help if you need it

- Be comfortable making a mistake, but be willing learn from it

- Be open to learning from others and always curious to know more
