MDSI is looking for an embedded software developer to work on an innovative new product. In this position, you will have a central role in the company and influence the development of a capability that does not exist in the market.

Tasks

Your main task will be to work on the development of the new product, as a part of MDSI's team of hardware and software developers.

You will be working in a small team and among other things tasks will include characterising and developing control systems, testing and tuning sensor fusion systems and working closely with real test on hardware

You will be able to benefit from continuous sparring with management, colleagues, and experts in a broad range of fields.

What we are looking for in a candidate

·         A relevant education within embedded software development

·         General experience with Linux

·         Experience with control engineering, including

o   Kalman filtering

o   Sensor fusion

o   Control on embedded systems/RTOS

o   Python and C++

Experience with the following topics is an advantage:

·         UAV’s, control systems and navigation

·         We are looking for candidates with 3+ years' working experience, but exceptions can be made depending on the type of experience

In this position, a security clearance may be required at a later stage. MDSI will apply on your behalf if you do not hold one.
