We are currently seeking an energetic Project Engineer to enhance our workforce. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of external hardware deliveries. You should exhibit exceptional mentoring abilities, particularly in guiding junior team members to elevate their expertise. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our assembly and delivery procedures and enhancing our documentation practices. Additionally, you will serve as a vital conduit for channeling field-based development and improvement suggestions to our back-office functions.

 

 What will I be doing?

  • Lead quantum computer hardware installations for customer deliveries.
  • Perform on-site visits for surveys and installation preparations.
  • Assume the role of a technical expert within the Delivery Team.
  • Collaborate in the planning of quantum computer deliveries, encompassing packaging, shipping, and logistics.
  • Engage in development tasks related to deliveries.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support other functional areas.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in daily operations.


What skills do I need?

  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the relevant field e.g micromechanics, mechanical assemblies, electronics, etc.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or substantial hands-on experience.
  • Technical proficiency, capable of managing intricate systems.
  • Strong problem-solving acumen.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in the English language for effective technical communication.
  • Profound abilities in communication, IT, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal interactions.
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally.
