QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• Profound knowledge of various ligand binding (e.g., immunological) techniques.

• More than 3 years experience of independent research work, some years preferably in industry.

• Education and training

• Masters (M.Sc.) degree

• Good knowledge of the principles of GLP

• Knowledge of the principles of GCP and GMP

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Willingness to travel.

• Willingness to continuous training.

• Ability to cooperate and negotiate.

• Strong project leadership skills with a proven track record of leading projects to timely completion.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a team leader for laboratory staff.

• Fully independent validation and application of methods for the analysis of study samples according to GLP, GCP and GMP.

• Act as a principal investigator/responsible scientist in validation of novel innovative methods and routine use of ligand binding used for the analysis of study samples generated in non-clinical and clinical studies.

• Apply the developed methods for validation and analysis of study samples and report them according to GLP (including presenting to clients).

• To develop and test new techniques and methodologies within the field of bioanalysis and characterization of macromolecules.

TASKS

• Development and validation of novel immunological methods.

• Routine use of immunological and cell-based assays to analyze samples generated in e.g., preclinical and clinical studies.

• Reporting of studies according to GxP.

• Write plans, reports and SOPs.

• Team/project leader.

• Oversee the work of lab techs – assist in capacity planning as needed.

• Trouble shooting when required.

• Sharing knowledge and providing training and scientific development.

• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and other colleagues and scientific organizations.

• Follow recent developments in the field of bioanalysis and cell culture techniques.

• Follow and implement the EMA and FDA guidelines and white papers to SOPs.
