Landell Games is on the lookout for a talented and passionate Web Developer intern who is well-versed in the ways of WordPress and PHP. As part of our dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and contribute to exciting projects that will captivate gamers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom plugin and theme development.

PHP and Database Management:

Use PHP to create server-side logic and work with databases to manage data efficiently.

Additional Technology Skills:

If applicable, leverage your expertise in technologies like MongoDB, PUN, Go-lang, Unity, and C# to contribute to various projects.

Real-Time Strategy Gaming:

As an RTS Gamer, your insights into gaming experiences may inform development decisions and solutions.

Server Monitoring:

Monitor Concurrent Connected Users (CCU) using Photon or similar technologies.

Integration with Steam:

Integrate applications with Steam, ensuring a seamless user experience.

KPI Dashboard:

Set up Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards to track and visualize project progress.

CI/CD Implementation:

Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline development and deployment.

Administrative Tasks:

Manage email accounts and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with WordPress development, including the creation of custom plugins and themes.

• Proficiency in PHP and database management.

• Knowledge of additional technologies, including MongoDB, PUN, Go-lang, Unity, and C#, is a plus.

• Passion for Real-Time Strategy (RTS) gaming.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.

• Excellent communication and time management skills.

  
  

This is an unpaid internship of 6 months with the possibility to have it extended further, and since we are in discussions with major names in the industry we are planning to start our recruiting process this year. You need to be able to commit to working with us for at least 50% (20 hours per week).
